I'd like to share with you this Music Video I produced
A - L O N G - T I M E - A G O,
when "D I G I T A L" was just a seven letter word!
These days, I am still an "ANALOG DUDE" living in a "DIGITAL DILEMMA" -
This "MUSIC LOVER" video was shot in just "One Long Day - into the night" ...
Musically, because I had to use both hands AND both TOES (literally) to do the final mix-down on 8 tracks, with levels all over the place,
and NO DIGITALLY AUTOMATED MIXING BOARD to ease the complicated task- given all the instruments I utilized-- recording all the Music Tracks and singing 99.9 percent of the vocals myself, took about one week.
This was 2 decades ago, so I can't validate the accuracy of the time line.
Please keep in mind this was a NO-BUDGET VIDEO PRODUCTION,
for only T I M E was spent on it.
And with the help of a few dedicated friends, a contribution of modest video gear and a two man crew from a Start Up Japanese Music Video Show that fashioned itself after the "HOT' New Show called MTV, and in search of some New Content to air on Cable T.V. in Japan, PLUS a few volunteer "HOT ANGELS"- THIS "MUSIC LOVER" video- came to LIFE!

*As a side note,
Initially, I envisioned MUSIC LOVER to be used with an ANIMATION about a "CRaZY Cartoon Character" who was Simply Obsessed with Music... but THAT DREAM of mine has not materialized as of yet... Perhaps one day.
For right now though, I would settle for seeing and hearing either the New York Philharmonic Orchestra, or the Boston Pops- performing a Fully Orchestrated Instrumental Rendition of "Music Lover" in front of a Packed House,
on the Great Lawn in Central Park... Yeah Man!
But TRUTH BE TOLD, even hearing a Ghetto High School Band do it
would DO ME GOOD.
